Aleksandra Korolova has just joined Princeton's Department of Computer Science and Princeton's School of Public and International Affairs as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Public Affairs. She is also excited to be part of Princeton's Center for Information Technology Policy. Korolova studies societal impacts of algorithms and machine learning, and develop and deploy algorithms and technologies that enable data-driven innovations while preserving privacy and fairness. She also design and perform algorithm and AI audits.
Prior to joining the Princeton faculty, Korolova was a WiSE Gabilan Assistant Professor of Computer Science at USC, a Privacy Advisor at Snap, a Research Scientist at Google, and a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Stanford.
