As a PhD student at Cornell Tech, Yiran Zhao' research experiences are at the intersection of healthcare, mobile and wearable sensing, machine learning and human-computer interaction.

Specifically, Yiran has focused on developing: (i) sensing techniques for physiological signs and disease progression, (ii) algorithms for sports training and user-context awareness, and (iii)design guidelines for human-centered information representation tool.
